Yesterday was a very exciting day...my sign went up! Check it out at 1143 New Britain Ave, West Hartford, Ct. I ran up and down the street looking at it from every angle. It looks great and has just the look and feel I envisioned. It has been a bit of a long haul with the permit process but ever since construction started things have been really moving along. I even have walls! (still waiting for a phone number, however... ughhhhh)When I walked in the door I could sense the space changing into more than just the four walls, floor and ceiling. It feels so full of possibility and I can not wait to share Pilates Defined with all of my clients.
Since the building aspect is in the good hands of my contractor I have been working away trying to understand my new scheduling software. I am psyched about having all of the schedules and payment options accessible online. It will hopefully help things to run efficiently. I have also been busy developing all of my new group classes. As much as I adore the private sessions that I teach regularly I am looking forward to the additional energy that group classes bring.
As anxious as I am to move in and share the space, I will spend the next few weeks making sure that everything, including myself, is ready to go!
